Welcome to The Biz, Sarah!

Sarah is joining the team as the Senior Marketing Manager. 

 Here's Sarah's personal introduction:

Hi, my name is Sarah Lanse, and I am excited to join PhotoBiz as the new Senior Digital Marketing Manager! I have been married to my husband Erick for more than 11 years, and we have three children, Shyla (girl - 7), Braylin (boy - 5), Adalia (girl - 4). We also have two dogs named Sprocket and Doozer – yes, they were named after Fraggle Rock characters.

I have recently embraced the Oxford Comma, despite what I learned in school. I am terrible at Wordle but still play every day. I came to the Triad in 2006 planning to be here for two years and still haven’t left. I started out my career in TV News as a producer, which is what brought me to the Triad. I switched to digital marketing almost 10 years ago.

I like tacos and burritos. A lot. Add in some coffee and queso (not combined) and you have my favorite foods. There is no wrong time of day for tacos. Or queso. Or coffee. I have also been a vegetarian for more than 30 years.

I also love shoes. I own more than 120 pairs, though I lost count at the exact number. They are among the most organized things in my house. Each pair has a bin with a picture to show what’s inside and they are color-coordinated in my closet.

I have lived in 10 cities in 8 states and am a proud graduate of the University of Maryland – College Park (go Terps!). In my not-so-free time, I enjoy working on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion issues, both as the Secretary/Media Specialist for Greensboro Pride and on the DEI committee for the PTA at my kids’ school.
