Welcome to The Biz, Duana!

Duana is joining The Biz as our Client Experience Manager. She will be responsible for managing the Passionate Suppor Team!  Check out Duana's personal introduction.

Rich is my husband and works as a TV news photographer for WXII-12. We have 3 children: our son, Michael, is 23 and a United States Marine, and our daughters, Samantha and Alexandra, are 19-year-old identical twins and just finished their freshman year at UNC Charlotte and WCU, respectively. We have two 11-year-old dogs: Layla (German Shepherd/Lab mix) and Rosco (Shih-Tzu) – guess who’s in charge?

I am an early riser and love being outside, so on most mornings I’m either working out or running. I’ve completed two ½ marathons and am getting ready to start training for a 3^rd. I’m also a huge fan of chocolate, thus the working out and running. I am also a published author, an amateur musician, and a painter (oil and acrylic).

My entire resume reads like a series of short stories, but I feel like that gives me a lot of experiences to draw from when creative solutions are needed. I’ve been in technology, collectively, for over 20 years and a professional youth minister for almost as long.

I believe “why” we do what we do matters and life with family and friends, sprinkled with laughter, makes us rich beyond measure."
